China Zhenghe Intellectual Property Agency was founded in April 1st, 1985.
As an affiliated agency of the Ministry of Transportation of the People’s Republic of China (Patent Agency of the Ministry of Transport), China Zhenghe has been commitment to providing services of patent filing and the related intellectual property business since April 1st, 1985 when the Chinese patent system was established.
In April of 2001, China Zhenghe was privatized as an intellectual property partnership and designated as a foreign related patent agency by the Chinese government in 2006, and renamed to what it is now.
China Zhenghe has more than 20 years IP experience of prosecuting patents, design and trademark applications for both domestic and foreign clients. We are very experienced in handling large and complex invalidations, infringement proceedings and negotiations etc, within a variety of industries.
Since the implementation of China’s reform policy, accompanied by great numbers of foreign enterprises coming into China, many disputes arose from patent design rights, trademark rights and other intellectual property rights. The number of these disputes has been increasing. Such an environment demands that patent agencies have greater capacity to handle patent, trademark filing and the post-grant patent/trademark enforcement.
